My own personal aims for creating this were to test out story ideas, strengthen my collaboration and communication with actors and child actors. As well as, work on my blocking and composition. Inevitably I had to shoot the short myself, but I believe it gave me the freedom to experiment with how I framed each scene. Another goal of mine was to try and bring out as much subtext and character motive as I could through my actors, blocking, camera and lighting work.
